The United Aged Home is home to more than 250 residents from all over Israel, provided with full board accommodations. This includes presence of geriatric doctors during the day, 24-hour emergency on-call doctor, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, service of social workers and a dietician. The United Aged Home offers fitting services to all types of the geriatric population, from functionally independent to completely disabled. We also have a complete department specializing in care for dementia patients and Alzheimer's disease.

Our recent renovation allowed our occupational therapy programs to benefit from a new home base. In a light and airy room, with tables for crafts projects, and lots of storage space for supplies, our staff is able to cheerfully greet the residents for programs each day. Unique crafts, cooking and gardening projects, under the guidance of out therapeutic staff, help residents connect to memories of their younger days, safeguard their motor-skills, vision and gives them a sense of accomplishment. Some of the crafts events are done in cooperation with some students in our neighborhood who lovingly visit our residents as part of an intergenerational program.
